Na prvim snježnim treninzima uoèi nove sezone, prilikom veleslalomske vožnje u švicarskom zimovalištu Zermattu, Janica je osjetila zatezanje u zadnjoj loži lijeve noge. Odmah nakon treninga njezin otac i trener Ante Kosteliæ, u dogovoru s direktorom reprezentacije Vedranom Pavlekom, odluèio je da Janica hitno bude prevezena u Zagreb.

Janica Kostelic expects to be on snow in a month after tendon rupture



Three-time Olympic ski champion Janica Kostelic expects to be back in training within a month after partially rupturing a tendon in her left leg.

Kostelic's spokesman, Ozren Mueller, said Thursday she will undergo therapy in a Croatian clinic and plans to continue condition training.

"Janica will adjust her training to the current situation," Mueller told The Associated Press. "It's nothing serious."

Kostelic was rushed to a clinic in her hometown of Zagreb on Wednesday after feeling pain in her left hamstring during giant slalom training at the Swiss resort of Zermatt.
