retired...Hajduk wanted him but like most of our former players they refuse to play in Croatia  Maybe he should go to Zeljeznicar where he started his career. |

he is not the only one...Rapaic only played for half a season with Hajduk and said there was no motivation. Boksic says he doesn't want to play in front of 3,000 people every weekend. Strupar said he doesn't want to play in a league where the results are known before the match (match fixing), Suker didn't want to return and Vlaovic wanted more money.
The only player I can think of who wants to play in Croatia is Giovanni Rosso.

Mario retired, his reason was his knee with which he had not played for most of the previous season and not that he did not want to play in Cro.
