I am considering buying some CDs from Balkanmedia.com , as there seem to be no alternatives. CroArt.com CD shop in Croatia are quite expensive (they do not seem to have heard of no VAT on exports), and the postage is simply obscene. Does anyone have any experience in purchasing from Balkanmedia, just to let me know if they are Ok??

Ta firma ima dobru reputaciju u Njemackoj i zbog toga sto su jeftini, mnogi ljudi kupuju kod njih.

They are very good and I would really recommend them. Actually, last week I bought 5 CDs from them and they came in record time of 2 days. The CDs work out at about £10 each factoring in the postage costs.
The only thing I would be careful of is that they produce some "compilation" albums like best hits of various singers where you think you are getting a double-cd at good value. A lot of these CDs are produced in Serbia and the qulaity of the recordings is "live" at concerts and sometimes very bad.
Otherwise, I would just buy the recognized CDs which are very good. Also, each CD you buy you get a voucher, and if you buy 100 CDs, you get 10 free.

Thank you both very much, most useful information. So I have to keep an eye on the manufacturer, and it should be OK.
