The Raindance Film Festival, the leading independent film festival in Europe, returns to London for its 20th edition this autumn. Included in the line-up is the Croatian film Vegetarian Cannibal ("thought-provoking to the point of shocking, Vegetarian Cannibal is a riveting character study of a ruthlessly amoral gynaecologist aided by a society that prefers not to look too closely") that will be screened on Saturday 29th September at 1pm, and Saturday 6th October at 9pm. A number of other films from other Balkan countries will also be shown, including several entries from Slovenia and Serbia, and Montenegro as well.
