Violet comes home to a cold damp house and an inquisitive neighbour. She's looking forward to a long-planned treat, but Anna, the neighbour, just keeps interrupting. And when Violet's daughter Mandy unexpectedly returns from Australia, Violet has to cope with being a mother. Again. Strange, though - Mandy doesn't arrive through the front door... And, stranger still, why can't Anna see her? "Cold Hands" grip our hearts and won't let love through - it always seems to end up in the wrong place.
Cast: Gabrielle Hamilton, Sadie Shimmin & Deborah Asante Designer: Norman Coates Sound Design: John Leonard Lighting Design: Phil Hewitt Produced by Jenny MacDonald and Theatre 503
There will be a post-show discussion with the writer and director on Wednesday 25 May and Wednesday 1 June.
