Here's a point for you... When I'm in Croatia, I speak Croatian. When I'm in England, I speak English. As you said, this is a forum for Croats IN the UK. Since we're in the UK, let's speak English. Half of you guys are trying to get a visa for this country anyway, so how about learning the language.....

Cue Rack,
Or is it possibly because English is your first language and Croatian is your parents language and you can speak Croatian but not write it? (..instead of pregnant doging at others about their visa statuses ..)

Sigurno se zoves Miljenko, Mihovil ili Kresimir pa ti se ljudi sprdaju. Sigurno? you reckon? That's a big assumption... Do you want to keep trying? My real name is a lovely one CroUK.... Pregnant doging?? Would you care to maybe explain? The jibe at visa situations in a general comment so apologies to those who took offence. I can read, write, and speak in Croatian, have done since I was a wee little one... for your information

Please note that a lot of people of Croatian parents or one CRO parent., being born in the UK, do not speak Croatian fluently. Why exclude them?

CueRack, I was surprised at the 'pregnant doging' just as much as you were lol. The word I actually used must have been detected by the system and changed automatically.. this is quite funny actually..I urge you try. And it wasn't even that rude! It was 'b..i..t..c..h..i..n..g' (let's see if it susses it out this way)

I think it was great this event was organised. I don't know many Croatians in UK, and this was a great opportunity to meet some new friends. As I came on my own, I had some motivation, and managed to meet and talk with about 8-10 people throughout the evening. (Yes, it should have been more)
Having said that though, I do agree with the comments that it is hard to meet people a clubbing environment with dim lighting, and loud music.
Maybe we can organise a meeting place before going to the club, in an environment where it is easier to meet people and chat - a pub/cafe/restaurant in the local area. Arrive around 5-6pm, have something to eat and drink, and then head out to the club... just a thought
Cheers, sve

The forum is probably sitting on a US server/service provider and they don't know what bollocking is as bollocks is a very British word, hence no censorship! (feeling smug )
